When this pic of Angelina Jolie at the Spirit Awards surfaced, the whole world realised that no, she hadn't forgotten her Trinny and Susannah panelled pants. She was, indeed preggers.
Well dear readers, that very same baby bump must have got a whole lot bigger over recent weeks - Brangelina are having twins! One boy and one girl, according to a very good source (well, OK, a US gossip site).
Even with two little 'uns inside her, I'm sure Ange will still look every inch as stunning as she does here in this floor-length evening gown (with elasticated waist, natch).
But I just can't get my head around Brad. There he is looking, if anything, more sex god by the year. Check the Steve McQueen shades, ruffled hair and quirky 'pants'.
But when was the last time you met a dad who got more sexy as the number of his brood increased? All the dads I know all look like death due to lack of sleep, nappy changing (NOT a glam activity) and toddler chasing...
Dads of the world take note! Fatherhood is not an excuse. We want more sexy dads!

JOLIE & PITT'S TWINS WILL BE FRATERNAL
ANGELINA JOLIE will give birth to twins in her late mother's native France, if the latest U.S. news reports are to be believed.
Celebrity magazine In Touch reports the actress and partner Brad Pitt are expecting a boy and a girl.
The couple has yet to confirm the baby news, even though Jolie's ever-growing belly suggests she's with child, and their publicist is offering a firm "no comment" on the latest reports.
According to In Touch, Jolie was overheard cooing about her unborn babies on the set of Pitt's new movie, Tree Of Life, in Texas, telling one pal the little ones are "kicking and moving".
A source tells the publication Jolie and Pitt were overjoyed when they heard they'd be having twins after a visit to their obstetrician/gynaecologist Dr.
Jason Rothbart last week (14Mar08).
The insider says, "Because she took fertility treatments to help her ovulate, her babies are fraternal. They're ecstatic. She can't wait." The source adds, "She's (Jolie) out of breath a lot, but she loves every second of it (pregnancy)." The couple is reportedly set on having the twins abroad - and France is a favourite destination, according to the publication.

Angelina Jolie won't hurt Jen Aniston's feelings
Angelina Jolie deliberately cancelled an appearance at a pre-Oscars fundraiser co-hosted by Brad Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston last month, because she didn't want to hurt the Friends star's feelings, her brother James Haven has claimed.
Jolie, her boyfriend Pitt and Aniston were all due to attend the sixth annual Night Before charity event on the eve of the Academy Awards, but the Mr. and Mrs Smith stars were noticeably absent from the glitzy fundraiser, which was also attended by Hollywood superstars including George Clooney, Cameron Diaz, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
And while Internet gossips claimed a pregnant Jolie and Pitt had pulled out of the event for fear of a showdown with Aniston, Haven insists the rumours couldn't be further from the truth.
He says, "Angie is an incredibly strong but also incredibly sensitive woman, and she would always be careful when another woman's feelings are concerned.
"She'd go out of her way to make sure there was no situation that would hurt another woman because of her, and I'm talking about a situation like one of Brad's ex partners or his ex-wife."
Pitt and Aniston were married for five years before splitting in January 2005. Less than three months later, Pitt began a relationship with Jolie, who he had met on the set of Mr. and Mrs Smith - but both stars denied media speculation of an affair, insisting they only got together after Pitt and Aniston separated.
Jolie and Pitt are now said to be expecting their second biological child, although reports have yet to be confirmed. They already have a daughter, Shiloh, and three adopted kids: Maddox, Pax Thien and Zahara.

Jolie has had a few close calls working as UN goodwill ambassador
Angelina Jolie admits that shes had a few close calls ever since taking on the role of UN goodwill ambassador.
The Mr and Mrs Smith star revealed that she has used some desperate tactics while paying a visit to danger spots the world over as part of her work for the UN.
Ive had close calls. Ive been in countries where people tried to take my passport Ive had to hide in a room because there were people outside who were dangerous, the Daily Express quoted her, as saying.
The actress also opened up about her political activism, insisting she was privileged to be able to work for a good cause.
As for political activism, Ive been educating myself on things that are happening around the world, she adds.
Its a privilege to be able to do it. I feel motivated to say or do something because Im in a position to do so.
However, she is clear that even her work as a UN ambassador and acting have to take a back seat when it comes to her children.
Obviously my priorities are my children. They are growing up. Ill be doing even less work because thats what I prefer to do, she said.
Im a mom first. I dont know if Im as much an ambassador as Im a citizen of the world. I just want to learn about the world and its cultures. Lastly, Im an actress.

Brad Pitt the Ref: Jennifer Aniston Primed for Angelina Jolie
Now that Brad Pitt has four kids he surely must be used to acting as a referee on many battles for the kids. But his biggest job of keeping the peace may have been a week ago when he kept Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie in their respective corners. One report claims that Jennifer was tanned rested and ready for what was supposed to be a big night and a Hollywood battle with Angelina.
But as we all know now, Aniston showed and Jolie did not and the heavyweight A-list fight scheduled for Beverly Hills never made it to the card. That left Jennifer with bragging rights. Jolie was nowhere to be found, and she skipped out and never even bothered to show up. So what happened?
Brad Pitt thwarted what could have been a nasty catfight between his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and his pregnant partner Angelina Jolie. The report from the national Enquirer claims that it was all Brad as Jen was primed and ready as was Jolie but Pitt thwarted what could have been a the nasty but exciting catfight.
The former “Friends” star was radiant in a short, sleeveless black dress and an insider noted: “She wasn’t going to back away from a showdown. “Some people at the party were even joking that there may be a special theme if they ended up in the same room – ‘There Will Be Blood!’”
Brad, however, decided that he had to step between them and prevent the potential explosion. “As you might expect, Brad was feeling really uncomfortable about Angelina and Jen meeting,” explained the insider.
“It was his worst nightmare. Brad was dreading it.” He finally managed to persuade Angelina, who is pregnant with twins, that she should put her feet up and take it easy rather than go out. After all, she was tired from attending the Film Independent’s Spirit Awards earlier that day, the Enquirer reports.
"Even though Angelina wanted to face off with Jen, she’s dedicated to Brad and realized how uncomfortable he was. She saw through his charade of saying she should rest, but went along with him to keep peace in her home.”

Jolie fights for Iraq
Angelina Jolie has written an op-ed article appealing to the US government to provide humanitarian aid for Iraqi refugees who have been displaced by the war. The Oscar-winning actress, who also serves as a goodwill ambassador for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, has described the plight of these people in the Washington Post piece titled, 'Staying to Help in Iraq.'
The 32-year-old actress, who recently visited the war-torn country, stated that American support is key to addressing the humanitarian crisis, which has displaced more than 4 million people. According to the actress, of the 2 million refugees within the country, 58 percent are under 12 years old.
"What we cannot afford, in my view, is to squander the progress that has been made. In fact, we should step up our financial and material assistance," People quoted Jolie, as stating in the article.

Drake's bid for Angelina Jolie's Iraq input draws foe's fire
Mother- actress- humanitarian- goodwill- ambassador Angelina Jolie got a new title on Saturday: campaign issue.
Glenn Nye, a Democrat hoping to challenge U.S. Rep. Thelma Drake, R-2nd District, in the November election, went on the attack over Drake’s suggestion Friday that Jolie be invited to address members of Congress on the situation in Iraq.
“Where are Thelma Drake’s priorities?” Nye said in a statement released by his campaign. “It’s time for serious people to do serious work to bring a sensible and responsible end to the war in Iraq.”
Drake on Friday urged that Jolie, who recently returned from a trip to Iraq on behalf of the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees, be invited to a House Armed Services Committee hearing on the plight of displaced Iraqis.
Travis Burk, a spokesman for Drake, suggested Saturday that Nye is engaged in “hyper-partisanship” and said the congresswoman is interested in hearing from Jolie “in her role as a goodwill ambassador.”
“Her perspective is every bit as valid as Glenn Nye’s,” Burk added.
Drake is in her second House term representing portions of Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Nye, a former foreign service officer, is a political newcomer. He has indicated that opposition to the war will be a focal point in his campaign.

The Angelina Jolie Iraq Plan: What Now Hollywood Democrats?
Angelina Jolie has weighed in on US Policy in Iraq and she believes that the presence of US Troops in the county is a good match for humanitarian and security reasons. Actor and Jolie pal George Clooney once told Barack Obama that he liked him and wanted him to be the next president but would not campaign of him because so many people see Hollywood celebrities as political poison.
That much is certainly true but it appears that Angelina Jolie is set out to change all of that as she desperately tries to focus attention on humanitarian efforts to assist the displaced and desperate Iraqi refugees. Jolie wrote an op-ed piece in the Washington Post ("A Reason to Stay in Iraq,") that was quite eloquent and she warned against squandering the good works there by a premature pull out of American forces. Jolie was criticized for her trip to Iraq earlier because she is pregnant and some believed that she was putting her unborn child in danger but it appears that she believes in her cause enough to do the leg work.
She made the trip and even spoke with Gen. David Petraeus, the American military commander in Iraq, and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. She would later do an interview with CNN as well to try and draw even more attention to the crisis.
All good things, but she really put herself out there when she decided to promote the troop surge, a pivotal part of the US presidential elections and a still raging debate among the US Congress. Jolie wrote, "I can only state what I witnessed. When I asked the troops if they wanted to go home as soon as possible, they said that they miss home but feel invested in Iraq," she wrote. "They have lost many friends and want to be a part of the humanitarian progress they now feel is possible."
Wow - not your typical Hollywood response. Even conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh praised the actress and now her editorial has sparked even more debate on who she supports for president and why she would ever support more troops and go so far against the grain of Hollywood.
